Happiest Place on Earth

What a great way to start the new year DISNEYLAND! Nick had a work show down the street from Disneyland so me and the kids decided to tag along. We stayed at a hotel right across the street from the entrance. Nick had to be at the show on Thursday so I decided to take the kids to the park by myself. I didn't know if I was crazy or what.

I took the double stroller for Avery and Kamden and Kasen walked. Kasen was a trooper. Never once did he complain about going on all the baby rides. Nick was able to join us on Friday and Saturday. Kasen is at the age where he was not really into getting the pictures with the characters. Unlike Avery she wanted me to find everyone of them.
Nick took Kasen on the older kids roller coasters while I was with the little ones. We just texted back and forth of eachothers whereabouts and met up often. It worked out great! Avery with Tinkerbell.

Kasen and Nick on Thunder Mountain. Kasen's favorite ride were Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain and Tower of Terrors

What cuties!

Avery loved seeing Jessie. We went back each day we were there to say hi to her. Kamden was absolutely terrified. At on point Jessie and Woody started to walk over to the stroller and he just started screaming!

Avery's favorite is the Carousel and Dumbo. Kamden's favorite ride was the Tea Cups. He laughed and laughed as Avery was spinning us. I almost puked. Kam missed naps and had late bed times but was a real trooper.

Friday morning Micky had left brand new Disney shirts for the kids. They were so excited and Avery just couldn't believe he would be so nice.

The kids were so well behaved and we just had a wonderful time. We got back late Sunday night and it was sure hard to get up and go back to work on Monday. I love spending time with my family. We had so many laughs!

Snow Day........In Pahrump!!

Kasen and his snowman

Avery and her snow- woman

Jumping on trampoline

Kamden enjoying the snow for about 1 minute until his feet got cold. He wanted nothing to do with it after that.

Our backyard! It was the day before we had to go back to school. All I wanted was one more day with my kids and I got it. Snow Day in Pahrump! We woke up to 4 inches. Now, I know all of my Utah friends are laughing right now but we do not have the equipment to clear rodes. The school district thought it was to dangerous to run buses. Therefore we got another day off and I was so happy. My kids were so excited they went out first in there pj's. They got cold came in and got dressed, got wet came in got more clothes and the cycle keeps going. They loved it. I was inside with Kam and when I looked out they had made these snowman all by themselves. I thought they were great for a 4 and 6 year old. It was such a fun day!

Christmas at Pahrump Grandma and Grandpas

It is tradition that after we open our gifts we go in our pajamas down the street to Nick's mom and dads. We usually open a few gifts and have breakfast. I think we made at down there at about 7:00 a.m. Avery got dress up clothes and Tangled pajamas and shirt. She loved them.

Kasen got a a small Foosball table and clothes as well. His cousin Matthew gave him an air guitar.

This was the three of them rocking out together. Later Matthew went and got his air guitar and things got really crazy!!! Thank you grandma and grandpa for our gifts!

Christmas Morning

I love watching the excitement on my children's faces when they walk in the room and see there gifts for the first time. Kasen is very focused on what may be inside! Kasen always likes to look at them and try to guess what it might be. He is actually pretty good. A few of Kasens favorite things were the Tony Hawk Shred WII game, a skateboard ramp, an army helicopter and DS games.

Avery just opens as fast as she can. A few of her favorites were a Pink DS, Fur Real walking dog, Baby Alive and high chair and her new clothes.

Kamden tearing into gifts, but not caring one bit about what is inside!

One Happy Little Boy!

One Happy Little Girl!

Dad helping Kamden open his stocking. The kids loved their gifts and were very grateful for all that Santa, Mom, and Dad had brought!

Christmas Eve

Kasen tired to guess what the gift could be before opening.

Kam enjoyed unwrapping, but did not care what was inside.

Avery couldn't open them fast enough!

It is tradition that the kids get to open a pair of new pajamas on Christmas Eve. Avery with her tutu, Kam had penguins and Kasen got Christmas Phineas and Ferb pajamas.
Each year we spend Christmas Eve with my parents. The kids love going there and trying to guess what namers and papa got them. As you can see from the picture they got SPOILED. My mom wrapped Kasen's gift in Mickey Mouse paper, Avery's in Tinkerbell, and Kamden had Winnie the Pooh. She made them go on a hunt and find there gifts and make piles. The kids thought this was so fun. We had a really nice dinner and just chatted. We really tried to teach the importance of the true meaning of Christmas and about giving during the holidays. It was so neat to hear the kids as we were driving to Vegas say "you know mom and dad, Christmas is not just about Santa, it is about baby Jesus being born in a stable."

Kamden Pics

Calvin Klein models here I come!

I am a little late on Kamden's one year old pictures. (Sorry Kam you are really 15 months in these.) Salina with Salina Ann Photgoraphphy tooks these pictures. It was pouring rain as I am trying to haul three kids, Kam's cake and balloons over to her house. Kam is also cutting his molars and not the most happiest baby right now. I was not sure how this was going to work but it did. Salina was so patient and in no hurry. What I love about the photos is that each picture captures a glimpse of his little personality. I love the photos and had an extremely hard time picking which ones I wanted. How can you resist this little face? Thanks Salina!

Bellagio

We took the kids to the Bellagio Atrium. Most everything is made out of fresh flowers or the seeds. It is always so beautiful.

The kids favorite was the Polar Bear .
