Nick = 34

Nick turned the 34! Happy Birthday! We had family over for dinner and ice-cream. On the weekend I took Nick out to dinner and a movie and had some alone time. It was nice to be able to eat and talk without any interruptions. We went and saw Avengers and had a fun time together.

Friends

Our friends Ian and Adrienne stayed in Vegas for the weekend. We met up for dinner at Claim Jumper and then went to the little park area in Town Center. Our kids get a long really well and they had a fun time just playing.  Locklyn (in car seat), Jett, Tenli, Kasen, Avery and Kam

2nd Grade Field Trip

I took a personal day off work and headed off to Vegas with Kasen's 2nd grade class. I am friends with his teacher and she asked if I would come along and chaperone.  She has a class of 32 and needed the help. We went to the Natural History Museum and had lunch at the park. This is Kasen's good friend Jake.

The kids were very well behaved and Kasen loved riding the bus!

Mother's Day

I was spoiled with a bunch of colorful flowers, a new Kindle Fire case and gift cards to go shopping.  The kids wrote me nice stories and decorated cards. Nick had cleaned the house by the time we got home from church. That was probably the best gift of all. Motherhood can be hard but I would not trade it for the world. These three kids are my life and I love you all so much. After church we headed down to Nick's moms house and had a barbecue and swimming.  It was just a perfect day. I am so grateful for my wonderful family, but also my mom as well. She is so caring and would do anything for me and my family!

Cowgirl Party

Avery went to her friend Peyton's cowgirl party and they got to ride Vanessa's horse. This is actually going to be Avery's Aunt Vanessa pretty soon.  Avery loves horses and couldn't wait to ride.

They took a hayride from Peytons' house over to the horse stables. It was a lot of fun. All the girls enjoyed it.

Avery's Ballet Recital

One of Avery's favorite time of year is when she receives her fancy dance costume. She loves all of the fluff, glitter and make-up. They did a dance from the movie Tangled. Avery, Analise, Alina

Avery and her teacher Rachel Maughan. Rachel is headed off to college this year and will not be able to teach. She was so wonderful with the girls and she will be missed.

Avery is always so nervous to go up on stage to the point of vomitting and every year she faces her fears and does a fabulous job!
