Halloween

Nick's favorite holiday is Halloween. Our house is always decked out with scary stuff. The kids love helping dad set up the graveyard and fog machines. Kasen decided he would be a Star Trooper, Avery a friendly witch, and Kam was Frankenstein.

All of us mom's threw a little Halloween party which is always a big hit. This year it was so warm outside the kids only stayed in their costumes for about a half hour and then changed.

It is tradition that I take the kids trick or treating up our road and to some different family members while Nick and his friend Keoki stay back at the house and hand out candy. I actually met up with cousin Katie and enjoyed walking the street with her and hher 2 boys.

When we get back we order pizza lit the fire pit and sit out in our courtyard all evening and hand out candy. It is always so much fun. This year we also roasted marshmallows.

Kam loved running as fast as he could up to the houses and getting the candy. He was so adorable and without even halving to remind him he would always say "tank you"

I loved all of their costume this year!

The kids had so much fun and ate an outrageous amount of candy!

Pumpkin Carving

In the past Avery loved carving pumpkins and Kasen was never much of a fan. We were not sure what Kam was going to think but he LOVED it. Anything that makes a mess he just loves.

Kasen enjoyed watching while the other two scraped out the goo.

I saved the seeds and cooked them up for a little snack. All my kids like to eat the seeds!

Pumpkin Patch

The weekend before Halloween we had a Pumpkin Patch over at the park. All proceeds go to disabled children in which we thought was a great cause. They had all sorts of activities for the kids. Avery immediately went to the petting zoo. She loves animals and found this cute bunny to hold.

The kids were able to pick their own pumpkins.

Face painting is always fun for kids. I just don't get it. You pay money for something that is going to stay on for a few hours but the kids were happy. Avery had a spider and on the other side had a pumpkin.

Kam and his sucker

Avery loved riding the horse and wanted to take it home.

My cute boys.

Effort Award

Each month the school does an effort award and a student of the month award. Avery got the October effort award for being a super hard worker with both schoolwork and classroom jobs. Avery loves school and we couldn't be more proud of her!

A Night Out On the Town

Breck and Kasen
Our friends Carrie and Garrett and their kids stayed the weekend in Vegas. We were able to meet up with them and have a night out on the Las Vegas strip. It was so crowded and trying to manuever 5 kids was a little tricky. We stopped to watch the Bellagio fountains which were suppose to go off at any minute but it didn't happen. We ended up having to wait about a half hour. While we were waiting the kids of course saw this snake and had to hold it.

Kasen roped me into it as well.

Kasen and Breck loved the snake but the other 3 didn't even get close. After the water show we went to the M&M factory. Of course while you are there you have to by the cool colored m&m's.

After an obscene mount of money spent on the cool m&m's we had dinner. Our kids get along really well and it was fun talking about old times with our friends. Thanks for a great evening Carrie and Garrett!

Ace 48th Anniversary

After Kasen's football game we headed up to ACE Hardware to celebrate their 48th Anniversary. They always have some activities for the kids to do. This year they were decorating pumpkins. This is Kam hard at work!

The kids saw these at ACE and of course had to have them so daddy gave in and got them. You can't help but laugh.

The kids were excited to decorate their pumpkins and bring them home to set outside the front door.

Fall Festival

The Fall festival is always such a fun time. It is a carnival and a lot of booths, rodeo and a parade. This year we were only able to make it to the carnival. This is Kam and our babysitter Mya.

We went with our friend Keoki and his son Kai. They loved this slide and you could here them all just laughing so hard from the minute they left from the top until they reached the bottom.

Living in such a small town we ran into a lot of the kids friends.

This is Aylia, Avery and Tiyawna

Now that the kids are older Kasen likes to ride the real fast scary rides. Of course you can't get pics of him on those so I made him ride the carousel so I could at least have one picture. He was such a good sport!

We had such a wonderful evening enjoying all of the junk food and the kids had a blast!!!
