Monster Trucks

Nicks mom had bought 10 tickets for the Monster Truck Finals show in Las Vegas. We gave Avery the choice of going to the Monster trucks or dance camp. Of course she chose dance camp. It was fun to spend alone time with Kasen. He is such a funny kid and just loves everything. We invited our friend Marcus and his son Colin. He and Kase get along great.
This is the  10 of us who went. Shaun Steph, her brother, C.J., Julie, Kasen, Colin, Marcus, Nick and me way at the end.
Kasen's favorite truck was the Metal Mulisha.
Colin and Kase. We had so much fun cheering that the next day our voices were practically gone.
Gravedigger is another well known truck. It was actually there 30th anniversary with the Monster trucks. They ended the show with 6 of there own Gravediggers and by the end they had demolished them all.

On the way we talked with Kasen and he told us all about his favorite parts about the show. He did say that another one of his favortie parts was being able to stay up until midnight!

Avery and her friends went to a 1 day dance camp and had a blast. It was a fundraiser for the church girls to go to camp. They learned a few dances and had snacks.  Avery's favorite was a song called Chiwauwa. They got to wear bells around there wrist and it was really cute.  Analise, Avery and Teyawna.

For some reason these are the only pics I took. Very unlike me!

St. Patrick's Day

At school we had started looking for Larry the Leprechaun. We had spotted some footprints on the tables, He had jumped through a box of Lucky Charms, and we even made a trap for him, but we were never able to catch him.  Be for we new it the whole school seemed to be looking for Larry. It was pretty funny.

So we continued the search at our house. We couldn't catch him either. He did leave this note for the kids with a little surprise. Sorry you missed me. Maybe next year! Love Larry Leprechaun.
He left green juice, green watermelon gum, green Mike and Ikes and a green pen. The kids loved hunting for him and said they are positive they will get him next year.
Tradition is we always have green milk, green, pancakes, and green eggs. The kids look forward to this every year. Of course in this pic Kam is acting silly.

In their St. Patrick's Day gear.
Avery made this necklace in class. Kam thought it worked better has a headband.

11th Aniversary!

Nick is so wonderful! After 11 years of marriage I am still so in love with him. This year he planned our entire aniversary adventures. We stayed the weekend at the Mandalay Bay while my parents watched the kiddos. Friday night we went and saw the Jabbawockeez.

We sat in the second row which was pretty nerve racking. Through the entire show they would pull people up and have them do some crazy dance moves. I am not sure Nick even got a chance to enjoy the show because he was so afraid they would pick him and they do not take NO for an answer. The show was really good and it is amazing what dance moves they were able to come up with.

(Me, Lori, Katie, Amy)
Saturday we got to sleep in. What a treat when you have 3 kids who love to wake up at 5:45am every morning. We shopped and laughed together and had a nice lunch. That night Nick surprised me with dinner and 21 of our closest friends and family.

We went to Margarittaville in Las Vegas and we even had our own menu. Could he get any sweeter?

(Vanessa, Mike, Me and Nick)
After a wonderful dinner we went dancing and hung out with our friends. It was such a wonderful weekend and I couldn't imagine life with anyone else. I love you Nick! A big thank you to my mom and dad for always watching our kids. They enjoyed a Saturday at Bonnie Springs visiting the petting zoo and watching a Wild West SHow.

Spring Concert

Avery had her Spring Concert at school. It was Kindergarten and First graders. During the Spring concerts they use instruments and sing. Avery was so excited she was on the bass.
