Christmas Eve

Kasen tired to guess what the gift could be before opening.

Kam enjoyed unwrapping, but did not care what was inside.

Avery couldn't open them fast enough!

It is tradition that the kids get to open a pair of new pajamas on Christmas Eve. Avery with her tutu, Kam had penguins and Kasen got Christmas Phineas and Ferb pajamas.
Each year we spend Christmas Eve with my parents. The kids love going there and trying to guess what namers and papa got them. As you can see from the picture they got SPOILED. My mom wrapped Kasen's gift in Mickey Mouse paper, Avery's in Tinkerbell, and Kamden had Winnie the Pooh. She made them go on a hunt and find there gifts and make piles. The kids thought this was so fun. We had a really nice dinner and just chatted. We really tried to teach the importance of the true meaning of Christmas and about giving during the holidays. It was so neat to hear the kids as we were driving to Vegas say "you know mom and dad, Christmas is not just about Santa, it is about baby Jesus being born in a stable."

I love spoiling the kids! We do the night before pj's too! I like how the kids each get their own wrapping paper! Very cool! Again I mention, could we live closer! =)

First of all, I love the fire behind Kasen's head on the first picture. So awesome. Finding the presents I bet was soooo fun for the kids. What a fun Christmas Eve tradition. I haven't looked at your blog in a long time...I can't believe how old Kamden is looking. So cute.
