Yuma Arizona

Nick's grandpa Bud passed away so we headed down to Yuma Arizona for his Memorial. The drive was 7 hours and we were not quite sure how the kids would travel. The kids did surprisingly well for the first 6 hours. That last hour was hard. Nick's grandmas property was beautiful. Big trees, very open and fenced around. The perfect playground for the little ones. We brought bikes, scooters, balls, and different toys to play with.

Our family and grandma. Our hotel was really nice and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool with Chase and Matthew their cousins.

The boys and their cousins Candi and Danny. It was the first time I had met them and they were really really nice. Nicks relative Nikki loved playing and entertaining our kids. Avery was attached to her the whole time. The kids got to see tortoises, and ride on the rhino and just had fun.

Although it was a long drive we had a great weekend. The actual memorial was during the week and we had to miss it, but I met a lot of Nick's family and he got to see them so it worked out good. On the way home we let Kasen ride with his Uncle Shaun and he thought that was the coolest thing ever!!
