Half Way There!

So I have finally made it to the half way point. I am twenty weeks and a couple of days. I had my appointments today and everything looks great. I had the doctor check and make sure our baby is still a boy. He reassured me that the boy part was not going to fall off and our baby is 100% boy. :) He estimated his wait at about 14 oz. I am now feeling fetal movement which is exciting but also reassuring. I was a little bummed about our pictures. Usually we get fantastic ones but our baby was not cooperating today. The doctor poked, pushed and tapped on my stomach and we could not get any good ones. The picture is the side view of the babies face.

20 weeks pregnant ( Kasen took the picture!)

Memorial Weekend

We spent Saturday and Sunday with my parents. The kids love going to see them. While Nick and I ran errands they spent most of the time out by the pool.

Avery and Las Vegas grandma floating and relaxing in the sun.

Kasen was pretending that the air pump was the gas pump for the floaty. Him and grandpa waiting to gas grandmas floaty up. After the pool my parents set up the slip and slide. We were hysterical when grandma decided she would give it a try. She made me promise I would not post the picture!

Baseball Season has Come to an End

Baseball season has come to an end. It was so exciting to see the progress Kasen had made from Day 1 until now. Kasen loves to bat and run around the bases. Our team was the biggest so the outfield would get boring for the kids from time to time. Overall they played great and learned a lot.

His team had great kids and we had a very fun season! All Avery can talk about is how next year she gets to be a real Dodger!

Kasen's Pre-School Graduation

Kasen graduated on May 18, 2009 from Pre-School. The graduation program was really cute. The boys wore the light blues gowns and the girls wore pink. They sang songs and afterward we had cookies and punch. Kasen was very excited because he had the biggest cheering section.

Kasen and cousin Matthew

Kasen had a great two years of pre-school. He learned a lot and is very ready to move on.
I can't believe he will be starting kindergarten in just a few months. With the school district budget cuts in our town I will most likely be the only Kindergarten teacher at his school. He is very excited to be in my class. He has already told me he knows to call me Mrs. Moore at school and mom at home.

Boy or Girl?

MySpace Graphics & MySpace Layouts

I had an appointment on April 27 with my specialist (sorry for the late post), I was very stressed about the appt. because I had been spotting for days. With the troubles I have had I was assuming the worst. We went to my regular obgyn and we did end up finding a heartbeat which was a huge relief. I then headed to the specialist where he always does an extensive ultra sound. At each visit we see pictures in 2d, 3d, and 4d. My specialist said the baby looked great and very healthy. The bleeding was actually coming from my cervix and I was just over doing it. We had also been told that I would be able to find out the sex of the baby. I hate surprises so of course I wanted to find out. He ho hummed around and being only 16 weeks we had thought he wasn't able to tell us. At the very end of the ultra sound he smiled and said it was a BOY! Nick and I were both so excited.

This is a pic of our baby boy. He is all of 6 0z. and very healthy. I have thought the entire pregnancy I was having a boy. Nick's family is just not capable of producing many girls. Avery was just a fluke. Of course Nick and Kasen were ecstatic. I was just happy to hear that he was ok and Avery was not going to have a baby brother. She only wanted a sister. After a couple of days Avery finally said no baby girl mom I am going to have a tiny baby brother. She has been the most excited and talks about her new baby brother daily.
