Mom & Dad's Birthday

Both my mom and dad's birthday's are just two weeks apart in February. My mom loves Red Robin so we all went to lunch. I had offered to bring a cake, but my dad had already gone to Costco and bought a massive chocolate cake. They had some friends over the night before and had eaten a couple of pieces. It was hard to fit ALL those candles on half of a cake. (Ha Ha) My dad decorated the top of the cake and it was so cute.

The first round was for my mom. When they blew out the candles their was so much smoke that we thought the fire alarm was going to sound. My mom would feel bad if I gave her age, but I want her to know that she doesn't act nor does she looks her age. Happy Birthday Mom!

Round two was for my dad's birthday. We added a few more candles and their was even more smoke. The kids enjoyed sitting on Papa's lap licking the chocolate off the candles. Happy Birthday Dad! We all had a really fun day.

PRO-BOWL 2009

Nick went to the Probowl this year with his friend Keoki and his brother Mike. It was the last year they were holding it in Hawaii, so they used that as an excuse to go.

They were lucky enough to find front row tickets to the game, so they got some great pics of the players and performers. (Archie Manning, Colt Brennen, David Archuleta, Ciara, and Enrica Iglasias??) were all standing right below him during the game. So he said it was cool. I just wanted to see the pictures of David Archuleta. He liked this pic of Tony Gonzales catching the first touchdown of the game.

Aloha Stadium had 59,000 people there for the game.

This is Nick and his brother Mike at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki at the NFL experience Day. They have alot of events and performances that day in the park. They have alot of jump houses and obstacle courses for the kids and most importantly pro players their signing autographs. And I guess that is what Nick spent most of the time doing standing in lines for different players signatures. He said he got more this year than in the last 2 years he has been going. They had a great time....I am just glad football season is over for a couple months.

Bubbles, Bubbles and More Bubbles!

Nick and I got free rooms for the weekend at Mandalay Bay. It was so nice to spend quality time together. We went to dinner and a movie, ran errands, and on Saturday night went and saw the Kings Tournament at the Excalibur. That was one show Nick had never seen. It was a little corny but we had a good time together. While we were off playing the kids were playing even harder.

My mom and dad watched the kids. They love going there because they seem to get away with a lot more than we would ever let them do. Kasen had decided he wanted to take a bath in their jacuzzi tub. Of course grandma and grandpa let them. Before they new it the bubbles were coming right out of the tub. My mom said they were a just laughing hysterically.

Where is Avery?

Kasen and his big beard!

Grandma teaching them how to make homemade sugar cookies for Valentine's Day. The decorating looked as bad as the kitchen, but the cookies did not taste half bad. Thanks mom and dad for watching the kids. These are the experiences and memories they will always take with them. They love you guys!
