Kamden 2 months

Time flies! It fills like just yesterday that I delivered Kamden. He has brought our family such joy! Kasen and Avery love to hold, kiss, and play with their baby brother. Kamden had a couple of fussy weeks, but as you can see from the pictures he is now a very happy baby. I had to go back to work which has been one of the most challenging things I have had to do. Knowing that Kamden was getting great care at the sitters, I still cried every morning for about a week. The first morning I didn't cry Avery said, "Mama good job for not crying today. Don't worry we will take good care of Kamden." Kamden has adjusted very well and we sure do love our little guy!
Thanks to my babysitter who loves and adores my children.

Museum

We were headed up to see my friend Carrie and her family when I got the call. Her daughter had few days earlier had come down with the stomach flu. She called again Friday night and said she still had a fever. I told the kids that we would not be able to go and the tears started streaming down their little faces. We felt so bad that we told them we would take them to the museum and then they were o.k. Early Saturday morning we left for Vegas and headed to the Natural History Museum. The museum was very old and run down but my kids absolutely loved it. They had a shark tank, dinosaurs that roared and a WHOLE lot of stuffed animals. After the museum we went to my mom and dads house where the kids continued to play. Nick and I got to sneak away to the movie Marley and Me. It was a great movie but very sad. Though the kids were still a little disappointed they did not get to see their friend Kadence, it was a fun day spent with our family.

Mammoth Creek

At about 8:00p.m. Friday night we decided we would go up to Mammoth Creek, Utah early Saturday morning. Nick's mom and dad called us at about 9:00 a.m. to tell us the highway we needed to take was shut down due to snow. We had to take this very long detour through Panguitch. The rodes were icy and very slick. Luckily we took Julie and Carl's Jeep Commander.
We tried and tried to get a hold of Nick's parents and could not get through. We even started watching the side of the rode in case the got into an accident. We reached Mammoth Creek at about 4:00p.m. Tried to drive to the cabin and there was two much snow. About 3feet to much. Again we couldn't get a hold of Nick's mom or dad and we did not know what to do.

We went to the only parking area in which we got our vehicle stuck. We waited and waited. Nick finally found someone who would snow mobile him to the cabin. On the we we found his parents stuck in the snow. They had been stuck for 6 hours. They had to hire a guy to dig a path to their cabin. They told us it would be done in about 45 minutes. It wasn't.

We had to sit in the car with two hungry kids for 31/2 hours. I think Nick only had to get out of the car once to let out a scream or two. We had left at 8:45 a.m. and finally got to the cabin at 8:00p.m. that night. I told Nick that is what we get for being spontaneous.

After we finally got settled into the cabin we did enjoy snow-mobiling, making snowmen and sitting by the warm fire. Avery still hates wearing all of those snow close. On are way home we stopped to see my grandma in Beaver Utah. She loves visiting the kids and giving them rides on her walker.
