My grandma Lucille Strong passed away February 8, 2010 in Beaver, Utah. My grandma was an amazing women. She never turned anyone away and always helped others in need. Her life was not always easy, but you would never know it. She was always happy and loved each one of us so very much. I have such wonderful memories of her and will cherish each one. The last three months of her life was spent in Las Vegas. As we traveled each weekend to go visit her my kids would get excited. They were getting to see their Las vegas grandma, and there stinky Beaver grandma. (My dad has always referred to Beaver as stinky Beaver). It did not matter how sick she was on that particular day she never was to sick to tell my kids that she loved them. She enjoyed having Kamden lay next to her on the bed and listening to me and Nick tell her what was going on in the kids lives. Kasen was so sweet and he never left a visit without kissing her goodbye on the arm. She never forgot a birthday or holiday. She would always send money and say "it is not much, but buy yourself a treat."

Kamden at 4 months
height- 25 1/2 inches- a little above average
weight- 14 lbs. 8 oz.- average
Kamden is such a happy baby. He coos and squeals all of the time. He grabs toys and loves to roll. He is getting a little better about being on his stomach. When he sees me now he gets so excited and starts kicking his feet really fast. It makes me so happy that he knows his mama. The kids love playing peek-a-boo with him.
I started Kamden on rice cereal in hopes he might sleep better at night. NOPE! He still wakes up 3 to 4 times every night. Kamden loves the cereal unlike my other 2 who gagged on it. This picture is of Kamden getting excited about the next bite of food. He is such a joy!

My kids are usually up at the crack of dawn but for some reason Christmas morning they decided to sleep in. Finally at about 6:30 a.m. Me and Nick woke them up. They were so excited Santa came. This year Kasen took his time opening his gifts. He loved every gift and was so thankful for each one. A couple of his favorites were his Nintendo DS, Tech Decks, and G.I Joe army tanks. Avery took a different route and opened her gifts as fast as she could and sometimes not even looking at what they were. It was pretty funny to watch her. A couple of her favorites were her cd player and Kidz Bop cd, strawberry shortcake car and little doll, and her Barbie learning laptop. Kamden got an outfit and rattle. He slept through it all. It was nice to hear the kids say thank you to us and Santa. After we finished we were off to Pahrump G-ma and G-pas house. (I think we there by 8:00 a.m.)
The kids got these Rudolph noses in their stockings at Pahrump g-ma and g-pa's and they even light up! Again my kids got spoiled. Avery loves her new buggie and doll. Kasen got a remote control Transformer car and pinball game. Kamden got stuffed animals, and uncle Mike bought the I love boobs onsie. Ha Ha Ha! Thank you for the many gifts grandma and grandpa Moore!
All of the grand kids and great grand kids on Nick's side of the family. My kids are that the age were they have learned that Christmas is not all about presents and getting things. Every time we went to the store this year the kids got change from their piggy banks to give to the Salvation army and were excited to do so. They talked a lot about Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas. It was wonderful to listen to. We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Posted by charese at 11:29 AM 1 comments
It is tradition that we go to my mom and dads house on Christmas Eve and have a nice dinner and open gifts. Of course my children got SPOILED. Kasen's favorite gift from Las Vegas g-mas and g-pas was this big dragon castle. He was so excited and had the biggest smile on his face. He couldn't believe that those elves read his letter and told g-ma what he wanted. :) Avery's favorite gift was a cash register. It was so cute she said, "This is what I've always wanted." My grandma was supposed to be able to join us but she ended up with an infection and the rehab center would not release her. We finished up quicker than normal and went to visit her. We had a great time! Thanks g-ma and g-pa for all of the wonderful gifts!
