Avery's 6th Birthday

Avery was so excited her birthday fell on a Friday. Her teacher Ms. Mills does the FAMOUS spanking. Avery couldn't wait. Ms. Mills flops them across her lap and pretends to spank them 6 times. She gets the kids to count with  her and it is so funny. I stayed up the night before and made 30 bright pink cupcakes per Avery's request.
Avery new exactly where and what type of birthday she wanted this year.  She wanted Hello Kitty with a lot of pink, at the bounce house with only girls. She picked out her outfit online and loved it!

We had immediate family over for pizza, cake and iceream on Friday night.
She had been wanting a snuggie for as long as I can remember and grandma Julie got her one.

Saturday morning was Avery's party. My mom and I were in charge. Nick and Kasen were only there for about 20 minutes and then Kasen had a baseball game. Avery invited 16 little girls and they all showed up. She was so excited. We decided on cupcakes and juice.
Avery's personal little cake.
All of her friends.
6 years has gone so fast. Avery is such a sweet person. She loves to read and write stories, play with the boys, but can also be girly. She loves her brothers and is the mother hen. She is very competitive and very good at sports. Avery enjoys playing with her friends, eating, and helping her mom. Avery is shy until you get to know her and then she never stops talking. I couldn't imagine my life with out this little girl. We are so blessed to have you in our family. Happy 6th Birthday Avery!!

Sister's Babyshower

We took a girls trip down to La Quinta California to my sisters Babyshower. This is my sisters enormous cat that Avery insisted on carrying around.
While we were there we went to The Living Desert (zoo). Avery loves animals so she was excited.

Avery and Grandma looking at the huge Ostrich.
We are sitting on a big warthog.

They had a Merry-Go-Round for kids that Avery enjoyed. She insisted on finding a Zebra to ride.
My sister was not supposed to be up walking around. Her fluids were low and the doctor had instructed her to stay home and rest. After much coercing we finally got her to sit in this wheel chair. We couldn't stop laughing. We also did a little shopping, did some cleaning for her and then Sat. night she had her babyshower.
A friend of her and Randy's through it for her. The decorations were all of these monkeys and it was so cute. She got a lot of nice gifts. We had to leave early Sunday morning, because it is about a five hour drive. It was such a fun girls weekend!

Missing Teeth- Two in one Day

SCARY!!!! Kasen lost two teeth in one day. You can still see the tears coming down his face.  I told him the Toothfairy is going to be broke! The bottom right one was so wiggly and we thought that would be the next to go. We were wrong. He bit into a chocolate bunny and the bottom  left one popped out. About an hour later he was eating lunch and the bottom right one fell out. That makes five within the last two months.

Easter Morning

The kids woke up to eggs everywhere! Some had candy while others had money. (not like grandma's filled with half dollars). They loved there Easter Baskets and thanked the Easter Bunny over and over. They each got a couple of outfits. Nerf rocket launcher guns, nets for capturing bugs, D.S. game, gum, the movie Hop, and paper and markers.

Dressed and ready for church!

I love these three so much!

After Church we headed up to the cabin to spend time with family. It was a very long but fun day!

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's

We had an Easter egg hunt at my mom and dad's. Kasen and Avery were extsactic because the Easter Bunny left them half dollars in all of there eggs. They made a killing. Kam was so excited and screaming when Kasen and Avery had more eggs than him. Funny!
The Easter Bunny even hid one in Papas mouth. Kam couldn"t open his eggs fast enough. That is his bascket below. I bet he ate an entire bag of candy by himself.
My parents always spiol my kids and this year was no different. Thanks mom and dad!

Easter- Dying of the Eggs!

There beautiful creations!

My kids absolutely love dying eggs. It gets so messy we have to strip them down and put a covering down on the floor. By the time we died eggs at my house and my mom and dad's we had a few dozen.

The kids enjoy mixing the colors and predicting what the new color will be. Kam not only loved dying the eggs he loved dying himself as well.

Waiting patiently. Avery likes really really bright colored eggs.
